With over two decades of distinguished service in the hospitality industry, Yannis Vamvoukakis is a seasoned Senior Hospitality Executive renowned for his expertise in leading pre-openings and re-brandings of luxury hotels. Yannis has a proven track record of driving exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence across prestigious properties in the Middle East and Europe. His strategic vision, combined with hands-on leadership, has consistently resulted in significant profit growth, enhanced guest satisfaction, and reduced employee turnover.
Yannis holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from the prestigious Les Roches School and has completed advanced hospitality programs at Cornell University. Fluent in Greek, English, German, and proficient in Spanish, he brings a culturally astute approach to his work. Yannis has successfully spearheaded projects for top-tier brands like Marriott and Accor, leading diverse teams to achieve remarkable results. Bio: George Anastasakos
George Anastasakos was born and raised in Athens, Greece. He acquired his B.Sc in Tourism Enterprises Management from the Technological Educational Institute of Patras in Greece. He has completed postgraduate studies in Hospitality Management at the University of West London (ex. Thames Valley University) in the U.K. He started his professional career as a front office trainee at the Athens Hilton Hotel in 1994. In mid-1997, he moved to London to expand his working experience in his field of studies and in view of attending a postgraduate program in Hospitality Management. He was hired immediately by the multinational company Starwood Hotels & Resorts at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel, based at Heathrow Airport. In August 2000, he achieved his first managerial position at the Sheraton Skyline Hotel as a Reservations Manager. Since then and until this day, George continues to hold significant executive positions in the companies that he worked for, and he has managed to develop his major specialization in Revenue Management.
In June 2005, George returned to Athens and until February 2010, he was occupied by one of the largest hospitality chains in Greece, Aldemar Hotels & Spa.
In March 2010, he joined the company ‘Market.Me!’ with the capacity of Business Solutions and Revenue Management Specialist. Making the move to go abroad again, George joined the Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach Hotel in May 2011 as Revenue Manager. In September 2013, he became a part of the Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) family. He took up the challenge as Cluster Director of Revenue for the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek and the Park Inn by Radisson Blu Hotel Apartments. Since March 2017, George has been part of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Waterfront, the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Canal View and the Radisson Resort Marjan Island Ras Al Khaimah and has taken the lead as a Cluster Director of Revenue.
